Angola: Approval of State General Account Postponed

The National Assembly (Angolan Parliament) Thursday in Luanda postponed for Monday (December 9) the approval of the State General Account for the fiscal year 2011, initially scheduled for Friday.

According to a note delivered to Angop on Thursday, the National Assembly adjourned the meeting in order to accommodate the programme of the funeral of the MP and nationalist Maria Mambo Café, who died last Sunday in Portugal of illness.

The approval of the State General Account at the 3rd extraordinary plenary meeting of the 2nd sessions of the 3rd Legislative Term was to be preceded by a topic on the agenda on crime in Angola.
