Nigeria: Alcohol Consumption Increases Auto Crashes - FRSC

Ado-Ekiti — The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has attributed increasing rate of auto crashes in the country to alcohol consumption by drivers.

The Zonal Commander of RS8 comprising Ekiti, Kwara and Kogi States, Cdr Kehinde Adeleye said researches conducted by the commission on auto crashes among drivers involved indicated that many of them were operating under the influence of alcohol and other intoxicants.
