Kenya: Sepetuka Music Fest Rocks Nairobi

The 2013 edition of the Sepetuka Music Festival went down on Saturday at the Carnivore in Nairobi.

Despite the evening downfall, the festival was a great success, with all the expected DJs and artistes turning up and working up the crowd with different genres of music ranging from kwaito, dance, hip-hop, reggae to dancehall.

The local and international performers rocked Nairobians in the three stages at the venue. Those at the Boom Boom Dome were driven into a frenzy when UK dancehall super star DJ Robbo Ranx left the decks to his fellow British disc jockey Sean B and distributed his CDs to the crowd right in the middle of a killer reggae-dancehall set.

The Simba Saloon was turned into a little Jamaica when ZJ Chrome took over, playing popular dancehall hits and testing the crowd's dancing skills. The fest hosted more than 25 top local and international DJs.
