Kenya: Sellers of Fake Goods Dodge Raid
By Charles Mghenyi, 7 December 2013
SEVERAL businesses suspected to be selling fake products in Mombasa county were forced to shut down to evade a raid by the Anti-Counterfeit Authority. The illegal businesses were closed after word went round that the ACA had pitched tent in Mombasa CBD and will be conducting raids in identified areas.
The crackdown scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday had to be postponed following the escape of the suspected traders.
