Sierra Leone: SLP May Dismiss Robbery Officers

A police officer attached to the Complaint, Discipline and Internal Investigations Department (CDIID)at Police headquarters in Freetown has told Concord Times that four OSD personnel accused of involvement in armed robbery at Komdoloh Limba Corner at Rokel in the Western Rural could be dismissed if the current investigation linked them to the offence.

Police investigator E.R.D. Kamara, who went to the scene at Rokel to carry out investigation in the said matter, said the four paramilitary officers were alleged to have been involved in an armed robbery attack on the settlement on 2 December, and carted away property worth millions of Leones belonging to one Sinneh Samura, the complainant.
