Kenya: NACADA Is Becoming an Extremist Outfit

NACADA chairman John Mututho has ordered a strip club in Eldoret closed (see Page 11). The Uasin Gishu deputy county commissioner Christopher Wanjau confirmed the strip club was operating illegally. The manager and three attendants are in custody.

Kenya is now becoming like Saudi Arabia where the religious police roam the streets disciplining people for moral offences. Mututho does not have the power to close a strip club, however much he disapproves of it. He was exceeding his powers.
