An agreement was signed between the Ethiopian government and the African Development Bank (AfDB) for a loan of more than USD 128 million to construct the Mojo-Hawasa highway road, on Friday (December 6).
The 201km highway, which will connec Modjo and Hawassa city is expected to be completed in four years time. The government of Ethiopia, AfDB and the Korea Exim Bank will finance the road project which will be executed in two phases.
