Gereida — Militiamen killed two residents of Gereida camp in South Darfur in two separate incidents on Sunday and Monday. Militiamen also robbed passengers of two lorries of all their belongings in the same area on Monday.
A relative of one of the victims told Radio Dabanga that on Sunday "government-backed militiamen" opened fire on Abdu Ibrahim Mohamed when he was on his way to collect straw and firewood, south of Gereida. He died on the spot.
