The "Ecological Christmas" project promoted by ?Rede Maiombe? Environment Network, to encouraging communities to collect adequate wastes to preserve the environment will be extended this year to more than five provinces of the country.
According to the chairperson of Rede Maiombe, Januário Augusto, the project dubbed "Ecostop" counts on support of the Ministry of Environment and was implemented in Luanda alone until last year. Now it is going to Cabinda, Zaire, Bengo, Kwanza Sul, Benguela and Namibe.
