Kenya: Airtel to Give Kenyans Free Ksh. 50 Airtime, 50 Mb for 50th Jamhuri Day

Airtel Kenya has today announced that it will reward all its prepaid customers with Kshs. 50 Airtel to Airtel airtime and 50MB worth data as part of the celebrations to mark Kenya's 50th Anniversary of her Independence.

The reward will be valid from 6am to 8am on the 12th December 2013. Customers only need to have active lines and need not subscribe to enjoy this offer. In a statement, Airtel Kenya Managing Director Mr. Shivan Bhargava, said, "This is our Good Morning greeting to the Nation in celebration of this great milestone of its 50thbirthday. This being a very important occasion for all Kenyans, it will be the very first offer that Kenyans will enjoy on the day, enabling them to connect with their family and friends as they share the joy of the historic celebration".

He went on to explain that the offers are part of Airtel's objective to increase mobile penetration and usage through empowering Kenyans to meet their daily communication needs.
