Nigeria: PDP Asks Court to Declare Five 'Rebel' Govs' Seat Vacant

Abuja — Poised for a last fight, the Alhaji Bamangar Tukur-led Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, yesterday, asked the Abuja Division of the Federal High Court to declare seats of the five 'rebel governors' that left its fold to the All Progressive Congress, APC, vacant.

The five governors are Murtala Nyako of Adamawa State, Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers, Alhaji Magatakarda Wamakko of Sokoto, Alhaji Rabiu Kwankwaso of Kano and Alhaji Abdulfatai Ahmed of Kwara State.
