Liberia: Business Link Inc. Promoting Business Ethics and Etiquette

A Liberian business, owned and managed by a young Liberian female entrepreneur, Madam Edwina Vakun Lincoln, has commenced the provision of quality services and promoting business ethics and etiquette into the Liberian business sector.

The company, Business Link Inc., provides a wide range of services for established and starting businesses seeking opportunity to transition to a higher and improved level.

The manager, Madam Edwina Vakun, noted that the company was established to facilitate the inclusive participation of small grass root businesses to promote job creation and financial independence. She said the company is guided by its devoted commitment towards improving the quality of service delivery and integrity.

Located on the 2nd floor of the Kaba Building on Benson Street in Monrovia, Business Link Inc. provides, amongst others, business and personal development services to targeted businesses in an effort to build strong businesses and organizations. The company also provides loans for small businesses and personal loans for new and existing businesses, student susu loan, individual and group loans, amongst other. The company is also involved in processing and providing loans for local purchase order (LPO), import clearing loan and payday loans to workers.

Other areas of specialization include the development of business plan and protocol, tax processing and advisory services, small business training courses, marketing research and analysis, and the preparation of financial statement amongst others.

Madam Edwina Vakun Lincoln, who manages the affairs of the company, holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) Degree from Cuttington University and several certificates in financial management.

She has served many financial institutions as administrative manager and as Chief Executive Officer with ten years experience in budget preparations, implementation and monitoring, financial statement preparations, budget management and tracking and enterprise development.

She has vast knowledge in small and medium scale enterprise development in Liberia and good knowledge of strong operation and management skills, strong networking and exclusive knowledge of Liberia public and private sector development.

As Manager, she provides/teaches her clients how to obtain loans to set up new businesses and improve existing ones, provides consultative services in all financial and administrative matters, including marketing, business planning, accounting, business and investment management and Human resource management, amongst others.
