Banco Espírito Santo Angola (BESA) opened on Friday in eastern Moxico province a new branch, which will provide seven new direct jobs for local young people.
BESA bank chief, Arlindo das Chagas, said that on the ambit of the strategy of expanding its services, this is the 69th branch inaugurated in the country to help the government to pay salaries to public servants and boost the financial system.
The bank director also said that the inauguration of this branch and many others highlights the institution's deeds in 2013 and covers the whole country.
In his turn, the province's Vice Governor for Economic Affairs, Francisco Cambango, who inaugurated the bank facility, praised the contribution of BESA to the banking system in Moxico, with various products available for the local public and economic agents.
However, in eastern Moxico province, besides Banco Espírito Santo Angola (BESA) of private sector, which started operating on Friday, there are other banks operating like Atlântico, Sol, BAI, BCI, BFA, BIC, Millennium and BPC.
BPC is the only bank that has branches in six of the nine municipalities of Moxico.
