Eritrea: Popular Development Activities Carried Out in Asmara's Geza-Banda Area Described Effective

Asmara — The popular development activities and environmental hygiene campaigns carried out in collaboration with members of the People's Army in Geza-Banda area, Asmara, have been described effective.

Speaking at a meeting organized thereof, Mr. Fitsum Haile, Administrator of Geza-Banda area, explained that continued engagements of this type have inspired community initiatives to this end, and lauded the active participation of women in the process.

One of the members of the People's Army, Mr. Teklezgi Tekeste asserted that the widespread popular venture nationwide attests to the Eritrean people's steadfastness, and called for the sustainability of communal programs.

The participants of the meeting put forth views, and expressed readiness to step up participation in forthcoming development undertakings.
