Ginda — Sami Tyre Recapping private company in Ginda said that it is striving to meet local demand. Mr. Samuel Tekie, factory owner, disclosed that it was launched in 1997 and demonstrated noteworthy progress until 2007 when it suspended production activity. Currently, the company has been equipped with more new machinery so as to attain higher production capacity, he added.
Accordingly, the plant is reprocessing 22 heavy vehicle tyres per day, while the workers are obtaining on-the-job training in line with the entrepreneurial ambition to cope with the growing demand. Moreover, the sole proprietorship business looks forward to expanding its product line for small vehicle tyres.
Among the employees, Idris Habib, Hadas Kahsai and Ahmed Suleiman expressed satisfaction with the job opportunity, and explained that the work environment has laid the groundwork for them to acquire increased skill knowhow.
