Nigeria: Customs Seize N101 Million Worth of Contraband

Birnin Kebbi — The Sokoto area command of the Nigerian Customs Service in charge of Kebbi, Sokoto and Zamfara has seized contraband worth about N101million from January 2013.

The Deputy Comptroller General (DCG) in charge of Enforcement, Investigations and Inspection, Saka Yunusa, spoke on this in Birnin Kebbi while fielding questions from newsmen shortly after a one day sensitization workshop organized for officers on how to perform the customs duties at border areas.
