Zimbabwe: Amakhosi Applies for Radio Licence

Monica Cheru — Amakhosi Cultural Centre is in the process of applying for the Bulawayo commercial metro radio station licence. If licensed, the station - called Esabantu - will be launched on June 1 2014. This was announced by Amakhosi founder Cont Mhlanga in a public Facebook post over the weekend:

"This is a notice to all of you that Amakhosi is leading a partnership of like-minded partners and have set up a company and partnership that will apply for the Bulawayo commercial metro radio station."
