Health workers who do not not return to work immediately will not be paid. Bomet governor Isaac Ruto says they will be treated as though they have absconded duty as their strike is illegal. He says counties have already put in place mechanisms to replace the striking health workers adding that some counties have started advertising for the vacant positions.
