Nigeria: Adamawa PDP Stakeholders Rally Support for Jonathan, Tukur

Daji Sani Bigwigs of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Adamawa State, including the Special Adviser to the President on Political Matters, Alhaji Ahmed Gulak, yesterday converged on Yola, the state capital, to drum up support for President Goodluck Jonathan and the beleaguered National Chairman of the party, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur.

At a rally, which was held against the backdrop of the defection of the Governor, Alhaji Murtala Nyako, to the All Progressives Congress (APC) along with four other PDP governors, chieftains of the party took turns to assure members that despite the switch of loyalty by the governor, Adamawa remains a PDP state.
