Kenya: Flower Farmers Protest Taxes

NAIVASHA Flower growers have expressed concerns over the cost of labour in the country against a stagnant market. Under the Kenya Flower Council, the farmers said they pay way above the gazetted government wages.

Speaking to journalists in Naivasha town yesterday after the council meeting, KFC chairman Richard Fox called on county governments to rationalise taxes in the sector.
