Kenya: Clergyman, MP Condemn Medics Strike

Nambale MP John Bunyasi and Kisoko Catholic priest James Otaga have asked health workers to call off the strike. Bunyasi said many patients have been forced to seek medical care in private hospitals.

"Private hospitals mint a lot of money from patients," he said. Speaking on Sunday, Otaga said: "Doctors should give the interest of patients first priority."
