Tanzania: Strong Winds Render 30 Rukwa Families Homeless

Sumbawanga — MORE than 30 families have been rendered homeless following strong winds that swept across Kakese Village in Sumbawanga Municipality in Rukwa Region, over the weekend.

The strong winds wreaked havoc to four among the six affected areas in Kakese Village which lasted for more than two hours while affected families left their houses and sought refuge from other safe places while some of them are reported to be sharing houses with their neighbours.
