More than 300 residents from Kamukunji village in Solia, Nakuru yesterday held a peaceful demonstration over a power black out that has lasted for five days. The residents said the Kenya Power has not rectified th eproblem despite numerous reports.
Paul Kamau, a resident, said most of their businesses have been affected. "We have incurred heavy losses since our business like barbershops, posho mills, mobile phones charging among others have not been operating," he said.
