Kenya: Police Targets Six Boxers Currently At Kiganjo Police Training College

Kenya Police are hoping to recruit six boxers who currently at Kiganjo Police Training College in a bid to beef the squd ahead of the next season.

Police deputy coach George "Foreman" Onyango said they expect the six boxers to pass out in April hence they are sure of a strong back up next season. "The good news is that flyweight Maurice Ochieng who got injured in Machakos is back to fitness and he is raring to go," the coach noted. He said International Peter Mungai has been holding brief for Ochieng in fly and will now resume his place in light-flyweight.
