Nigeria: BSUTH Set to Admit House Officers

Makurdi — The Benue State University Teaching Hospital (BSUTH) is set to admit house officers for training following an indication that the Medical Council of Nigeria will soon endorse its approval.

This development is coming after the recent visit of an accreditation team from the council to inspect facilities at the hospital. The team led by Professor P. C Ibekwe expressed satisfaction with their findings after inspecting key departments including those units that play supportive roles in medical care and training.
