Debate on a motion tabled last Wednesday at the Kwale county government by Kasemeni ward representative Anthony Yama to address employment at Base Titanium has been kept pending. This is until consultations and investigations are concluded.
Yama tabled the motion after Msambweni constituency leaders, led by MP Suleiman Dori, demanded Base Titanium to employ 200 workers out of 350 from his area instead of the jobs being distributed to the entire county.
