Nigeria: Gowon Heads Centenary Charities Trust BoT

The federal government has inaugurated the Board of Trustees (BoT) of the Nigeria Centenary Charities Trust with a former Head of State, General Yakubu Gowon (rtd) as the chairman. Members of the BoT include former Secretary General of the Commonwealth, Chief Emeka Anyaoku (Vice Chairman), former National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dr. Ahmadu Ali and King A. J Turner.

Others are Mrs. Fatima Abubakar, Mrs. Ekaette Akpabio, Abdulsamad Rabiu, Mr. Austin Ufomba, the Editor of THISDAY Newspapers, Ms Ijeoma Nwogwugwu, Dr. Doyin Abiola, Mr. Sam Nwaobasi and Kingsley Esegbue (Secretary).
