South Sudan: Emmanuel Jal Flayed Online Over South Sudan Coup

On Monday, there was an attempted coup in South Sudan by soldiers loyal to sacked former deputy president Riek Machar. Rapper and former child soldier, Emmanuel Jal, took to social media to highlight the incident:

"The wife of our first leader Dr. John Garang, has spoken, she is the mother of South Sudan, she is calling for all people to protect the Democracy. President Salvatore Kiir wants to pocket our freedom, I am not just gonna keep quiet, because I fought to earn my freedom. My micro phone is louder than a big bomb. Am not afraid to speak truth to the power. President Kiir is responsible for those who died last night."
