Nigeria: Govt to Spend N1.3 Trillion On Varsity Education in Six Years

Minna — As university teachers yesterday ended their strike that shut down 59 institutions for five months, resident doctors in public hospitals will begin their own strike today.

National Executive Council of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) on Tuesday approved an agreement reached with the government on December 11 in which bounds the government to spend N1.3 trillion on education over the next six years.
