Kenya: MPs Warning Over Disputes

18 December 2013

KALOLENI MP Mwinga Gunga and his Kilifi women's representative Aisha Jumwa have said wrangles between governors and MPs in some Coast counties will derail development. The two legislators benefits of devolution will not be realised because of the wrangles.

Speaking in Ganze constituency yesterday, the two asked leaders to shelve their election ambitions and focus on service delivery. "It is very sad that some people have already launched campaigns to discredit what we have so far done barely a year after being elected," Jumwa said.
