Once again, the drive to improve The Gambia's energy sector has been given another boost. The acquisition of a US$31.9M grant from ECOWAS for our energy sector could not have come at a better time. Problems of electricity supply are becoming history in this country.
While most people in the country nowadays experience a 24-hour electricity supply, with a corresponding increase in the number of street lights, it is important that we strive towards consolidating and strengthening what we have.
