The rain was pouring fast and thick. With the time gone past nine in the night, it was almost impossible to see one's way through the maze of confusion around. What passed for a road had become a thicket. In such an unfriendly atmosphere, motorists tried their very best to rush through. But that was when disaster nearly struck.
In the maze of the confusion, vehicles from both sides of the road under construction found themselves jammed together. For more than one hour, it was not possible for any vehicle to move.
