About 40 trainees recruited from across relevant government ministries and agencies, universities and the engineering society of Liberia in the country have assembled in Margibi County, Kakata City to partake in an on-going hydropower project workshop which aimed at strengthening the technical and managerial knowledge within the country.
The project held under the theme: Small hydropower project development in Liberia" is co-financed by USAID and UNIDO and Winrock International/LESSP as implementing agencies to lay the foundation for a market environment for mini hydro-based renewable energy in the country.
