Eritrea: Eddi Inhabitants to Step Up Contribution in National Development Endeavors

Assab — The inhabitants of Eddi, Central Denkalia sub-zone, asserted that they would step up contribution in national development endeavors. They made the pledge at a meeting, during which Mr. Mussa Haji Mohammoda, Administrator of the sub-zone, pointed out that the government has been exerting sustained efforts towards promoting the community's wellbeing through reinforcing equitability of social service facilities that need to be utilized in a prudent manner.

The sub-zonal Administrator went on to explain the role of parents as regards enhanced participation of children in education, and disclosed that the necessary initiative would be taken with a view to meeting water demand in the locality. He further called on the community members to demonstrate active role in the prevention of seacoast pollution.
