Four patients die as health workers carry out protests in Eldoret Four patients have died due to lack of medication in Marakwet and Uasin Gishu as Health workers carried out street protests in Eldoret.
Secretary of the Nurses Union John Bii said they would not give up the strike despite threats from governors in the region who have vowed to sack the striking workers.
Bii said the governors had no powers to sack health workers who were not employed by the counties.
