Gambia: Trust Bank Hands Over Newly Refurbished National Museum to NCAC

Trust Bank Gambia Limited on Tuesday handed over the keys to the newly refurbished National Museum to the National Centre for Art and Culture (NCAC) at a ceremony held at the NCAC centre in Banjul, Independence Drive.

The NCAC is an institution entrusted with one of the most enviable relics for the benefit of the nation. Its most important task of course is the preservation of the nation's heritage, which includes the research, display, presentation and communication of all aspects of The Gambia's glorious heritage. Trust Bank for the past five-years has been in a long lasting relationship with the NCAC in recognition of the important role the NCAC plays in safe-guarding the country's past for the consumption of present and future generations. Trust Bank has spent over D400, 000.00(four hundred thousand dalasis) in the roofing and fixing of the fence facing the Independence Drive in Banjul.
