Sierra Leone: National Blood Services Receives Transfusion Kits From UNFPA

The United Nations Population Fund (unfpa), As Part of Its Health Care Delivery, Donated Four Cartoons of Blood Transfusion Kits to the National Safe Blood Services in the Ministry of Health and Sanitation At a Ceremony Held At the Government Medical Stores, New England Ville On Monday December 16.

Speaking at the handing over ceremony, acting Assistant Representative of UNFPA, Madam Hahsina Begum, said the request for the items was made by the Minister of Health and Sanitation, Ms. Miatta Kargbo, that the blood bank needed modern equipment for effective service delivery.
