Nigeria: SAN Decries Low Judiciary Budget

Kaduna — A Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) Ustaz Yunus Usman, has blamed the legislative arm of government for the declining budgetary allocation to the Nigerian Judiciary.

He said at a valedictory court session in honour of the pioneer president of the Customary Court of Appeal, Justice Stephen Haruna Makeri in Kaduna that with the trend the allocation for the judiciary is taking, the legislature is tactically denying Nigerians the right to control policies.
