Angola: Government Approves Over 180 Projects

At least 187 projects were approved this year by the Ministry of Economy, under the "Angola Investe" programme, a support tool for Micro, Small and Medium Companies, said on Saturday the incumbent minister, Abrão Gourgel.

According to the official, the financing of these projects corresponds to AKZ 32.5 billion in loan.

"Under the Angola Investe programme, it was approved financings for projects in Luanda, Benguela, Huíla, bengo, Malanje, Huambo, Uíge, Kwanza Norte, Kwanza Sul, Namibe, Cabinda, Bié, Kuando Kubango, Moxico, Zaire and Luanda Sul", said Abraão Gourgel.

The sectors of manufacturing and extracting industry (51 per cent); agriculture (13 per cent) and construction materials (6 per cent) represent areas to which were allocated financings.
