Egypt: U.S.$32 Million New Investments in Petroleum Sector

Minister of Petroleum Sherif Ismail held a meeting with a delegation of the Japanese and Chinese companies operating in petroleum projects in Ain Sokhuna to review the feasibility study of the second phase of their project in Ain Sokhuna with investments of USD 32 million.
The project includes manufacturing pipelines for oil wells in Ain Sokhuna.
Ismail said that the Japanese and Chinese companies' decision to pump new investments is ascribed to their confidence in investment climate, which based on the rates of economic growth.
