Egypt: New System Applied in Prison to Prevent Exchange of Instigator Messages

The sector of prisons at the Ministry of Interior Saturday 22/12/2013 started to apply a new system in Al Aqrab prison where MB leaderships are held.

This system will ensure non-exchange of instigator messages that could affect the state security. This is the first time in which this system is applied in the Egyptian prisons.

Under the new system, interior Minister Mohamed Ibrahim said, a glass partition will be placed between the prisoner and his visitors to prevent the exchange of messages.

He said dialogue can be made between a prisoner and visitors through a closed telephone circuit.
