Egypt: Bomb Explodes At Public Bus in Cairo, Four Injured - Source

Four people were injured when a bomb detonated at a public transport bus on Mostafa al-Nahhas Street in Cairo's Nasr City on Thursday morning, a security source said.

The bomb, which was homemade, was planted at a small park at the intersection of Mostafa al-Nahhas and Youssef Abbas streets near the Azhar University, the state-owned agency MENA reported the source as saying.

The four injured people were taken to hospital for treatment, the source stated.

Bomb squads are currently sweeping the area to ensure there are no other bombs, the source said.
