Somalia: Handing Over of Prime Ministerial Post Expected Today in Somalia
Somalia's newly appointed Prime Minister Abdiwali Sheikh Ahmed is expected to take office today after he was given a vote of confidence by majority of parliamentarians on Saturday.
Mr. Abdiwali will take the office from the outgoing Prime Minister Abdi Farah Shirdon who lost a vote of no confidence last week.
The press has been invited to the handing over ceremony and the newly appointed prime minister is expected to address media.
