Western Sahara: Dozens Injured After "Violent" Intervention in the Occupied City of El Aaiun

El Aaium — More than 20 Sahrawi civilians were injured Wednesday in the occupied city of El Aaiun following violent intervention of the Moroccan forces of repression against a peaceful demonstration, according to a statement of the Ministry of the Occupied Territories and Communities Abroad.

The statement affirmed "dozens of Sahrawi citizens staged Wednesday a peaceful demonstration in the occupied city of El Aaiun to demand revealing the fate of 15 young Sahrawi kidnapped since December 2005, but the Moroccan repressive forces intervened brutally injuring more than 20 protesters".
