Egypt: Presidential Decree to Amend Fees, Analysis and Examination of Industrial Products

Interim President Adly Mansour issued a decree to amend the charging and screening tests of industrial products and materials:

The examination and analysis and testing of industrial materials and products should take place in the chemistry department for the purposes required by the provisions of Law No. 21 for the year 1958 for a fee decided by the Minister of Trade and Industry according to quality and cost of the tests with a maximum rate of LE15 thousand, reviewed periodically every three years.

Besides, the decision issued on December 21. and published on December, 25, 2013, in the Official Gazette underlined the necessity of carrying out the decree as soon as it is issued.
