The government has evacuated over 1000 Kenyans from South Sudan Foreign Affairs Principal Secretary Dr. Karanja Kibicho has said.
The number includes those earlier trapped in the oil-rich town of Bentiu. Kibicho said four flights including two military and two commercial planes will continue flying to Juba to evacuate more Kenyans. The Foreign Affairs PS said Kenya is leading peace efforts seeking a political solution to end the crisis.
