Egypt: Ten Injured in Clashes Between Brotherhood Students and Security

Ten people were injured in confrontations that erupted between student protesters and security forces at Zaqazeeq University on Wednesday, the state news agency said.

The protesters had tried to raid the campus to prevent exams from taking place, but when they failed, they closed the gates and hurled stones.

Police forces entered the campus to disperse the clashes.

Several Egyptian universities have seen unrest recently as students who support ousted President Mohamed Mursi have been staging demonstrations against the army.

Egypt's army ousted Mursi in July in response to mass demonstrations across the country.
