29 December 2013
The head of the 50-member committee that amended the suspended 2012 constitution Amr Moussa said on Saturday 28/12/2013 that the new changes made on the national charter will take Egypt to real democracy.
Addressing a conference in Cairo, Moussa said he is optimistic over the future of the country. "Egypt still has the opportunity for a re-launch to development," he said.
He voiced hope that the upcoming referendum on the draft constitution will witness a high turnout.
