Nigeria: Banks Owe Osun Over N1 Billion in Taxes

Commercial banks operating in Osun State are owing the state government over N1bilion being taxes deducted from their members of staff, withholding taxes, other taxes and rates due to the government.

The huge debt profile, however, did not deter the state government from fulfilling its promise to pay its workers the 13th month basic salary it promised them.
