Eritrea: Agriculture Ministry's Branch in Anseba Region to Exert More Efforts Regarding Soil and Water Conservation

Keren — The Agriculture Ministry's branch in Anseba region indicated that it would exert more efforts regarding soil and water conservation, crop rotation and pest control with a view to raising agricultural output.

It made the disclosure at an assessment meeting, during which the reports presented highlighted that a number of micro-dams, ponds, catchment walls and terraces have been constructed in a bid to enrich underground water capacity.
